First thing I do not consider myself a full-fledged "UX designer". I'm from a hardcore software development background (C/Java/Android/iOS). Some years back when I co-founded a startup, we made enough to break even, but the product did not take off like we had expected. My mind would always be with lingering thoughts as to what we could have done better. I had always used linux until then, but to make an iOS version I had to start using a Mac. Once I started using the Mac I could immediately tell that this was something into which immense thought had gone in to make tasks easier to do.
